Sent!

This painting was commissioned by a dear friend and turned into a gift of confirmation that she would be sent into the mission field by God. The painting consists of three small canvases to create one image of God's love. Three in one - the Holy Trinity! I must confess that as I was working on this painting, I didn't understand as the Holy Spirit guided me through the creative steps. So much so that I became frustrated but kept obeying the Lord, trusting that I was hearing Him correctly and that He knew best. AFTER the painting was done, He gave revelation and used this postmark as an example for Mary being SENT as a missionary in His Name, just as mail is postmarked when it is sent by the postal service.

The postmark also serves as a seal as it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 "Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,  set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come."

Looking at the circular image, You will also see a handprint.
God's hand is clearly upon Mary's life.

The Spanish word for love is amor.
The world will know Christ's disciples by their love.

Another revelation that the Lord gave about the painting is that Mary is "Scent with His scent." The Scripture text is 2 Corinthians 2:14-17. "But thanks be to God, who in the Messiah constantly leads us in a triumphal procession and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of what it means to know Him! 15 For to God we are the aroma of the Messiah, both among those being saved and among those being lost; 16 to the latter, we are the smell of death leading only to more death; but to the former, we are the sweet smell of life leading to more life. Who is equal to such a task? 17 For we are not like a lot of folks who go about huckstering God’s message for a fee; on the contrary, we speak out of a sincere heart, as people sent by God, standing in God’s presence, living in union with the Messiah."

Mary is a missionary in Haiti.
Please keep her in your prayers.
